Greeting from Dixieland Mobile Home and RV Park We have a delightful 2008-09 season planned with music jams and lots of games and activities held each day. Winter Texans and residents enjoy their home-away-from-home at Dixieland. Large shade trees and mature, well-groomed landscaping provide a lush tropical look to the park. The park boasts a recreation hall, shuffleboard courts and a horseshoe court. For those who want rest and relaxation, our heated pool and spa is the place to unwind after a busy day. There are many restaurants and a casino within a few short miles. South Padre Island is about 40 minutes away where fishing, dolphin watching and shell collecting are favorite pastimes. Mexico is also a favorite day trip among residents and Winter Texans. Golfers will love the convenience of being only a golf-cart ride away from two golf courses. “Dixieland is where you want to be,” is our motto. We do our best to live up to that motto. Friendly people, fun activities and great location make Dixieland the ideal place to visit, whether for a day or for a season. Hope you’re all having a great summer.
